:. World Disasters.

Earthquake- In Chile, killed more than 700 people. Troops and police cracking down on looters, arrested dozens of people for violating a curfew. Coastal towns were almost completely destroyed because of earthquake with soon after tsunami.

Global Warming- It is hard to convince people that global warming is an issue with all the snow lately. Short term climate changes such as the snow storms in the eastern U.S this winter are not the same thing as Long term climate changes.

European Storm- France hit hardest. Storm killed at least 62 people across coast of western Europe. Left one million homes without electricity. Storm also battered Belgium, Portugal, Spain, and parts of Germany and stalled train and air travel throughout the continent.

All of these storys are about the world's problems. Disasters effect world trade and other business and global warming is always something that effects everyone and everyone should try to do things to help prevent it.

I think that the most important of all of these stories is global warming. Because even though you can not drastically see the effects now, later on in life other people will and might effect them harmfully. People should take it into much more consideration than they do right now.
